Hopjacks Pizza Kitchen Taproom

So I’ll start with the good and end with the bad. So me and my wife ordered the duck fat fries, a couple beers, and a Black and Blue pizza. The atmosphere is really nice. Well kept and clean. I like the center bar area. The fries and drinks were brought out fairly quickly. (Which is easy enough with 8 customers at the time). The fries were amazing and the sauce they serve with it is something to go try. It paired well with the fries that were cooked in duck fat. They had a great selection of beers on tap. But when it took almost 30 min after the fries were gone (eaten) for the pizza to come out, that when I became a little disappointed. For a $25 large (16inch) pizza, you would think it would be amazing. When I went to pull the slice away from the rest of the pizza, the outer was so over cooked that they couldn’t cut it thru. I had to pull it apart and that alone was a struggle. When I managed to separate the outer area and pull the slice, the inner part of the pizza didn’t come with it. It was so raw and soggy that it was basically mush. I will not come here for pizza here nor will I recommend this place for pizza. Go to Ozone if you want pizza. *Update* so I responded the manager who replied to my above review. Oddly enough, I never heard back. Must have put that up a show and didn’t actually care if I had good service or not. Downgrading to 1 star.

Great pizza here, but the FRIES! They are boiled in duck fat and served with “crack” sauce. So delicious! Oh, and I hear the beer is good, even though I don't drink beer. Love the mixed drinks!

Awesome!!!!!! Cheese bread!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get 2. And Brie diving!!!!! Edit: Return to Pensacon. Again with cheese bread and Brie Dip plus pepperoni pizza. Delicious. I forgot to grab the photos before we ate the apps (Sharf apps are 1/2 off while Happy Hour!!! Very cheap.

After being expelled by Hurricane Michael, I was concerned to find a place to replace my beloved craftsmen at home. We stumbled on hopjacks and now we don't bother to go anywhere else. Best prices for craft beer I have ever seen and a huge selection! They have offers every day and their happy hour is amazing. Do not forget the amazing Belgian fries fried in duck fat and served with a delicious sauce! All the other foods we had are just as good! Service is always great and they are ready to give samples of everything you want to try and offer you some based on your preference. Hopjacks is definitely my new favorite restaurant!
