Captain D's - Pensacola

I’ve been going here my WHOLE LIFE but today has made me decide I won’t go back. First the order was wrong so I drove back up there to get it corrected and this is what they gave me for my 4 piece chicken

They recently remodeled this restaurant, but the air conditioning is just as ineffective as it was before. We couldn't eat inside, so we ended up leaving. Even the staff mentioned how unpleasant it was. I assume the owner controls the temperature. I’ve always enjoyed the fish, though...

I visited today around 3 PM, and while the worker was polite and informed me that the kitchen was closed, I had ordered a baked potato as a side dish. I would appreciate a coupon or a refund, as biting into the fish left me feeling queasy. My name is Mamie Simmons, and I sincerely hope the food wasn't left out for too long. I truly love seafood, regardless of its cost, but I've had much fresher experiences elsewhere. You know you could have done better. I won't be returning to your establishment.

The fish was fishy, the hush puppies were hard, the stuffed crab over cooked so bad the shell was falling apart. Green beans, mushy and the butterfly shrimp was so tough you couldn't chew it up.

The fish and shrimp were overcooked and tasted burnt due to excessive grease. I wouldn't recommend dining at this restaurant. However, the lady did offer us a small Coke as a gesture for the long wait—about 25 minutes!
