Faroles is a good place to rest while through Penonome. While food is expensive for Panama standards, it is still quite affordable. The A/C, free (although slow) WLAN and electric outlets make it a good place to do some computer work. There are only dessert buying is worth the milk shakes.

Nice terrace for having a pizza in Penonome. Away from the buzzling streets of the Penonome Carnival. Clean and excellent service.

I have good and bad experiences and used the restaurant for WiFi during the trip. Well, you let people sit and use Wi-Fi for hours. Bad: they really don't seem to care and the service is super slow. I always order to contribute to their business to be fair for about $20. But I had to get a waitress and then it takes an hour to get the food. Worst: Last time they brought a salad that looked like he was spun from the garbage, definitely not fresh as the previously ordered salad. And pasta, totally overcooked, probably back in a microwave. I ate little of it, it was terrible. I talked to the manager who insisted that the food was made fresh. One hour later, I was sick as a dog and that for three days.
