The Station Inn - Pembrokeshire

Went here for Sunday lunch. Couldn't fault it. Had 3 courses which were all lovely and at a very reasonable price. Very good portions. Will defo visit again

Nice fish and chips and a decent pint. Not cosy like it could be, though! A bit higgledy-piggledy. Friendly staff and lots on the menu, especially puddings.

Have been here a number of times, and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, can 't praise it highly enough, and the service is friendly and welcoming. The fact that it is an old railway station just adds to the charm. There is a bar with real ale and on Saturday night 'live music '. Prices are amazing,much better than Marstons or Wetherspoons. A real find!

Six of us went for a weekday lunch. I 've been here many times before for Sunday lunch which has usually been very good value for the price paid although the service is always very amateurish. This time we chose from the extensive blackboard menu (no table menus) and I went for the ribeye steak. As a chef I know my steaks and this one was cut forward from the ribeye and was fit only for braising. Tough is not the word and most of mine went back. Waitress reaction was 'tut tut, what a shame ' and that was it. No offer to replace or even reduce the price. It was a fun day out and I was not going to spoil the atmosphere so didn 't make a fuss The price was cheap and now I know why! Very good selection of real ales in the bar but wine choice was red or white. Won 't go back.
