Lakeside Restaurant - Pemberton

I was quite shocked to see all the positive reviews for this restaurant. Perhaps we just had a bad experience, but when we dined there, we were not at all satisfied. Although the setting is lovely and the staff is friendly and attentive, the service was extremely slow (waiting over 1.5 hours for our food) and when it finally came, it was disappointing. Our dishes were overcooked, dry, and the portions were very small. The prices are on the higher side, but unfortunately the quality of the food does not match the cost.

Had lunch here and the buffet was refreshing and beautifully presented. The food was top quality with everything that makes a great buffet. Thanks for making our Christmas dinner so special. George and Kerrie

Such stunning views with delicious food and excellent friendly service from staff made this an unforgettable 21. Birthday for my son! We ordered the fish of the day, the grilled Barramundi and the Scotchfilet. The steaks were particularly good and...Medium rarely on request. The barra would have the skin more crisp, but otherwise it was moist and tasty. All staff at the restaurant are a great advantage for the RAC Karri Valley Resort. When we were greeted in the restaurant at the time we left, the service was the top notch. We just wanted to leave the cake we put on the table, but the server took it from us and put it in the refrigerator. Then we told them that we can easily place the cake with the candles and decorations, but again they have proactively informed us that they will. The cake was then placed before the birthday child and lightened on our table. Not enough can be said here by the extraordinary service!

Lakeside is beautiful at night! We had a table next to the water and the lights dancing outside were just beautiful. The food was delicious with the only disadvantage the spicy chicken. My friend expected a bit of a bite and was disappointed that there was no heat for the spices. The ambience and the company turned out to be disappointment. The pasta was perfect and the steaks cooked for perfection.

Exceptional service was provided by the staff. The location on the lake is great. We had a variety of great meals both nights .
