Birdsall House - Peekskill

Small menu for vegan options, but food is very nice.

Sincean gyro was great! The consistency wasn't exactly what I expected tho, the seitan is more like meatball/falafel consistency. Great taste for “meat” tho. Fries also perfectly crisp. Served with house made ketchup and mustard. Outdoor area perfect for a sunny early autumn day!

There are 3-4 vegan menu items in Birdsall House and they offer to be the other vegan. We all have made the veggie gyros with side and they were really delicious. There is a beautiful garden sitting area that is perfect on a beautiful day or you can sit in the pub atmosphere. I'll probably be back next time we're in the area.

It was a great tavern food. a little loud, but still pleasant.

Her website makes this place like a raised bar, it is far from it. sometimes places like these can have the best eat, but not exactly for this place again. the food tastes burned, this place has too many rules for ordering food (the half of the menu is not available until after 5 o'clock) so we had to wait 15 minutes before our food could get in, they are incredibly overpriced for the amount and quality of food. we are not coming back.
