Bidra med feedbackOrdered delivery and the order was prompt and correct. The portions were big and that was great considering the price. Food was cooked very well but could have used more seasoning. I'd definitely order again and even go in person but will be needing some seasonings.
The food here is fantastic and quite affordable. Instead of ordering from the early bird menu, we opted for the bolognese, which is the main reason we visit this place. The sauce features a blend of meats, including veal, making it well worth choosing this dish over the specials. The soup was also excellent, and it came with bread and seasoned olive oil. Our waitress was very friendly, too.
If you were a fan of their original location, don't bother with this newer version of Bella Pasta. We loved the prior restaurant for its cozy, intimate space. Even when it was still BYOB, the quality of the food and the relaxed atmosphere made it one of our favorite date night destinations. We were completely turned off the minute we entered this sterile, cavernous space. The dining area consists of a huge, rectangular bar in the center, dominated by a blaring large screen TV. There is a scattering of tables around the periphery with the one section facing a window comprised solely of high tops. Judging by the low key clientele, this has become a local after work hangout where regulars gather to watch the evening news and enjoy a chat with acquaintances. This is not a bad thing, just not the dining experience we were seeking. The food was equally disappointing. The fried calamari was soggy and flavorless. The linguini served with my husband's vongoli was overcooked and mushy. I will give decent marks to my veal scallopini which was flavorful. The side of spaghetti, however, had a tomato sauce reminiscent of Chef Boyardee. The Pinot Noir tasted like something you'd find in a six pack on the convenience store shelf. The prices were admittedly reasonable, one of the reasons that drew us back to re-visit our old haunt. We were looking forward to a quiet couple's night out to connect and chat. The noise and distraction from the TV, however, completely disrupted our experience. Sorry, Bella Pasta, but your charm and quality have evaporated. With so many other experiences to choose from, we won't be back.
Food is very good. I ordered the chicken Parmesan and it was great. Decent prices. Easy to access. Very friendly. I would definitely go back and not sure if there's better Italian of this style in Pawtucket. The bar area is welcoming as well. Can't wait to go back.
I ordered takeout from this restaurant for the first time, having wanted to try it for quite a while. I chose the chicken Parmesan along with angel hair pasta, a salad, and garlic bread. The chicken was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. I really enjoyed the breading on the chicken, as well as the sauce and pasta. The portions were generous—I couldn't finish everything in one sitting! I appreciated the value as well; for $17.99, I received the chicken parm, pasta, and a salad. The packaging was also well done. I’ll definitely be returning and bringing friends with me next time. Highly recommend!
