Bidra med feedbackIf you're looking for a LIT latin brunch spot, La Chiflada is that place! I came here with a group of girls on a Saturday for brunch and the place was PACKED! The rules are that you have 1.5 hours for bottomless mimosas with a choice of entree. If you want to stay longer, you have to pay for a bottle. I elected to go for the mangu, as did the other girls. The mangu was good, I just wish there was more of it. The portion sizing was alright, just don't come hungry; you may have to stop for a snack afterwards. What really got the party going was the hookah, I've never seen hookah prepared this way before, where the coals sat inside a hollowed out pineapple. That alone was so cool! After our 1.5 hours was up for our brunch time, we wanted to keep the vibes going so we elected to purchase a bottle of tequila. We had so much fun dancing here and I could not recommend this place more! In terms of location, La Chiflada is situated within a Paterson residential neighborhood so parking isn't the best. Your best option is to Uber here. Also if you're looking for a bite to eat after, there's a Dominican bodega right down the block with some great food.
Don’t get me wrong, this place is a good time, but they have ridiculous rules to try to get more money out of people (like they don’t get enough). They are very greedy. They have a rule with chairs. After 11 they only allow 1 chair per table. We pay over $450 to be at a table and have to stand the whole time. One of the times we went there we had a party of 9 and they wanted to only give us one little table. We were ordering 3 bottles and food. How are we all supposed to fit? After arguing with them they finally gave us two tables. On another occasion we had another large party and again, only 1 table. They said if we were all together we could only get one table. If we’re separate parties then we get 2. So we said, then we’ll be separate tables. These people put both groups in completely different areas of the room. Mind you, there were plenty of tables available in close proximity to each other. They are very petty. They just wanna get the most money out of people. They really ruin the vibe after all this arguing about bottles and tables.
