Ristegios - Patchogue

Always enjoy my experience at ristigios, as well as my favourite dish, muscheln risotto! the entertainment is usually funny, especially when panic plays!

Food was great although surprised by a Christmas menu not the full menu. Also surprised that a 20% tip automatically included. Your credit card goes into a machine and before you sign it asks if you want to add a tip so you need to be careful

To loud. No idea how to clear tables for fine dining. Felt rushed by the staff. Food was good

This was for Thanksgiving Dinner. The evening started poorly when the greeter was too absorbed in his phone to greet us until prompted. Things did not improve when we learned that only a buffet was on offer. I had been expecting a choice based on their website having no mention of buffet only. Then the price. At $58 per person I would expect a pretty decent selection and mouth watering tastes. It was ok at best. (the ham was delicious, I'll give them that). The turkey though, was very dry, to the point where I just left it. The rest of the food was pretty decent. It was only as we were leaving that we noticed that there was a entire second table set up with breads, salad's and soups set up nowhere near our part of the restaurant and no one (i.e. our wait staff) thought to point it out to us). Dessert, consisted of a plate of cookies. While tasty, obviously no effort had been made. Finally, a 20% tip was automatically added (for a table of 3). That's not how that works, thanksgiving or not. In conclusion, we're not going back and don't recommend it at all.

Our family went for Thanksgiving. Normally the restaurant is very good but this time we were disappointed. They had a Buffett which was very nice but the food was subpar and not tasty. The waitress although ok was a bit shorter with answers and not overly friendly. The bus boy was very nice and joked with us at the table and was extremely pleasant. I would go back to the restaurant but we are going to take a long break.
