Bidra med feedbackGood cappuccinos and fresh squeezed orange juice. Highly recommend.
This cozy little cafe looks like I imagine Macondo from Gabriel Garcia Marquez' novel would look like. It's cozy, friendly service and lots of warm smiles. It was a quick bite so we only had the Colombian style beef and chicken empanadas, which were 2/$3. My husband got the Caribbean coffee which was not my favorite, it had banana and mango with espresso, it had a funny aftertaste but it is a popular drink. I played it safe with a cappuccino which was perfectly made. The menu was extensive which feels a bit overwhelming (in the best way) Will be going back to try some food items. Overall, pretty chill vibe (to work or hang out) both inside/outside.
I usually get the same thing here, the chai tea is always good, and so are the arepa and pan de bono, but this time it tasted so bad which is weird cause the food is usually so good. you best NOT be telling me this white slimy thing is an arepa, it didn’t have any crunch to it and looks like they cooked it for like 1 seconds and took it off also the pan de bono had a weird expired butter and soap taste to it? Like someone sprayed cleaning spray on it or something. Usually its good but not this time
Yesterday was not a good day for them. The wait time was ridiculous. And I am meaning more than 15 minutes for two coffees and a croissant. The coffee was horrible. The croissant which was supposed to be chocolate had maybe a quarter size piece of chocolate. I will say the chai latte was good
Great place to sit and read a book or to have a lunch date at. Friendly service and great empanadas and iced coffee!
