Carmelita's Mexican - Pasco County

We frequent this restaurant alot. Food is always good and not a long wait. We do the lunch mainly and have never had any issues with food or dining space and service. Have been using this restaurant for at least 15 years

Was going every week but this time will be our last. After spending near enough $40 and ordering what we always get which is the fajitas and chili bean dip this time the dip did not come with chips like every previous time we have ordered from there so we asked for them which we were told it would be extra for the chips. If the dip does not come with chips that should be told before when ordering cause you would expect chips for your dip.

Part of my food was not good. I judge a Mexican restaurant bye there tamales and maybe it wasn't fresh but they were edible but not delicious. The red sauce for it tasted pasty like it was made of chilli powder and not from fresh chilli's. The steak and shrimp fajitas were delicious, there salsa was delicious and the guacamole was really good. There churros are the best I had in a long time.

Kid-friendliness: Kids enjoyed their chicken tenders and waiter was very accommodating to them!
