Bidra med feedbackThe food itself is good but the cleanliness gives me a LOT of pause. There are dirty dishes and food particles all over the kitchen counters and it just seems generally unkempt.
Low quality acai bowls. Banana was mushy and overly ripe. Blueberries were frozen (which is fine for a smoothie, but weird when you put it on an acai bowl). Strawberries were barely red and mostly white in color and lacking flavor (underripe). Granola was in giant chunks and hard to get on the spoon. Acai base was very sweet. Peanut butter (and other items) were Great Value brand which, can be fine, but everything else tasted so cheap that this didn't help. The bowl was overfilled so when I took the lid off the peanut butter stuck to the top and it was all on the lid and barely on the fruit. Inside of the place seemed very worn and not well kept. Just all cheap/low quality. I get that sometimes you have to cut corners and build up but all of the corners are being cut.
I’ve been here twice around 10am and it’s closed when they clearly say on the door open at 930
If you can imagine, I was staying with friends in the area and literally just needed a protein source. Like there was going to be a big gap between breakfast and dinner and I just needed something good to fill the void since I was doing an hour workout that day. Found this place on Google and made my way over. It's near the Target and was easy to find. I walked in and place had a great ambiance and just very casual. The owner greeted me and I had a lot to choose from on the menu. I ordered just a basic protein shake and unfortunately I cannot remember which one. He filled the order and I paid and walked out the door enjoying it! It tasted very smooth and he put all the right ingredients in it. You could see all the ingredients that he was using and everything looked very fresh. Tasted pretty good afterwards too! Glad to support an immigrant run business. Prices were about on par for a protein shake.
Despite technical difficulties, I 'm satisfied with the service I received.I had ordered online through Google Maps, using a service called Order Clover. When I got to the restaurant and asked for my order, the worker at the counter informed me that they had never received it. I double checked that I had paid through the app and the money had been taken from my bank account. I showed her this on my phone, and she kindly made the order for me, despite being unable to confirm it on her end. I don 't know if the restaurant ultimately received the payment from Order Clover, but I hope that they did. They did not charge me for it since I had already paid online, which I thought was prudent of them for trusting and valuing their customer despite the uncertainty of the situation and the potential for profit loss.My only qualm is that the tables were not clean, which is likely because there was only one person working and handling the entire restaurant by herself. Hopefully they will be able to hire more people so that their hardworking employees are not overwhelmed having to deal with so many tasks at once, all on their own, from taking orders, to cooking, preparing drinks, and keeping the entire place, including the bathrooms, clean. Also, the Mediterranean wrap I had was tasty, but the juice was just ok, and very small for the price. It was called Lucky Lemon , but according to the description it contains apple, carrot, ginger, and cayenne pepper. Perhaps the lemon is considered lucky for having been spared from being included in the recipe, lol.Overall, I think this place is still finding it 's legs, so to speak. It appears to be relatively new, with a Now Open sign still hanging in front of it. I 'm sure they will work out the kinks and improve over time.
