Di Salvo's Bella Cucina And Di Salvo's Family Style Meals

This place is delicious, highly recommended! came with five of us and all we tried was Spot-on (and that comes from an Italian person in our group.) the escargots came in a delicious sauce, the beet salad was excellent, the scallops were delicious. the group-consens was our favorite main dishes were the tagliatelle ragout and seafood pesto. and for desserts we loved the panna cotta and pernen crostata the best (but the tiramisu and the Italian banan gap were also very tasty.) all staff were very friendly and it was great to talk to the owner, jane.

I consider myself lucky any time I'm able to stop in for a taste of Chef Carlo Di Salvo's cooking! What an amazing dining experience!

Excellent meals, huge menu (see photos), fantastic, friendly and attentive service, couldn't be beat, my meal of Jaeger Schnitzel was very savoury and tasty. Meal was served promptly. Bottomless Decaf Coffee was excellent. My dinner was inexpensive at $22 including non alcoholic drink, coffees and meal. My only regrets were that my meal was not hot, and elevator music was annoying. Nevertheless I was suitably impressed and I will be back, with friends. I was impressed with the fine dining menu too. Well done Di Salvo's.

Ordered takeout on a Wednesday evening and was super disappointed. Was told that the meal would not be ready for at least 40 minutes due to a busy restaurant which was completely understandable! Arrived about 35 minutes later only to wait 10 minutes at the door to even be acknowledged by a host (in a very empty restaurant). Arrived home and the food was soggy, cold and pretty much inedible as if it had been sitting for a very long time prior to me arriving. I understand that time estimates are approximate but I had left my number to call when food was ready and the restaurant was not busy. Very disappointed about this waste of money!

Extremely disappointed in the service and my food. Our server was very nice and welcoming, however our experience was immediately ruined when the “owner”who sat us at our table told my girl-friend to “cover up” when her outfit was completely appropriate. She also made other unnecessary comments about how she was dressed and was borderline rude while seating us when we were just trying to go out for a nice meal. The food was extremely overpriced for what it is. I ordered the “Gnocci with cream sauce” and the meal was 70% sauce and has also been giving me stomach pains. Definitely not worth your money!
