Unravel Coffee Breckenridge

Unravel is a classic, homey and cozy coffee shop/restaurant. I came for coffee in the morning and it was peaceful. The dining/seating area is well designed using a soothing color pallet along with sound proof windows to keep the traffic noise at a minimum. The furniture is stylish and very comfy with plenty of space to not make you feel cramped. The coffee is delicious as I had their drip coffee of the day. They certainly know how to brew coffee as this extraction wasfloral, had hints of citrus and a little bit of walnut. Overall, fantastic coffee and experience!

I was really looking forward to trying Unravel because I saw that they had a lot of healthy menu options. I ordered the Açaí bowl for breakfast. The woman asked if it was for here or to go and I said I was probably going to eat a little here and take some to go. So she said she would just give it to me in a to go container. When they brought it out to me I was very disappointed to see there was VERY little yogurt and toppings in the to go container. The granola was alsoextremely salty. I paid $10 with tip for this and would not recommend.

The restaurant has a unique and modern atmosphere with a cozy feel, complemented by great music and an enjoyable vibe. The take-out drinks are served in distinctive packaging (see picture below).

The food here is good, but just be aware that it's a self-service establishment with no actual waitstaff. When you place your order, a 22% tip is automatically added to your bill. But for what? We had to get our own drinks and even ask for takeout boxes. When I did, I was told there was a bus tray over there for us to use for our dishes. Is this McDonald's or something? As I mentioned, the food was enjoyable, but given the lack of service and the unpleasant attitudes, I don’t think they should be adding a tip when they don’t provide any service at the tables.

This place is fantastic! I was in search of a coffee shop to work at in the afternoon, since most of them close by 2 PM in Winter Park. I was a bit uncertain at first because it’s located in a hotel lobby, but that turned out to be irrelevant! The atmosphere was wonderful, and I had an iced chai that was absolutely delicious! I ended up sitting outside the entire afternoon; the patio offers excellent shade and even has outlets.
