Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Parma

When it came to ordering, my partner chose a brisket sandwich along with waffle fries and mac 'n' cheese. Unfortunately, they were out of waffle fries and substituted regular fries instead. The mac 'n' cheese was bland, even after we added salt and pepper. I ordered the Texas Frito Pie, but I wish I had gone with the brisket Fritos instead. I wasn't particularly impressed with the prices either. We only gave two stars, and that was mainly for the brisket sandwich—it was fantastic! It was so good that I didn't even get a bite because my partner devoured it. However, I'm not sure it was enough to warrant a return visit. As you could tell, the place was quite empty. To top it off, the soda machine was either out of order or not functioning, so my partner opted for lemonade, which tasted like plain water. If you decide to try it out, I hope you have a better experience than we did.

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I spent $18,000 and will never return. The burnt ends were half fat in every piece, and they come at a premium price. The corn bread tasted a day old and was dry. The sausage was cold, and the coleslaw was of very poor quality. The dressing was also cold. The person at the counter was as unwelcoming as the food—rude, and they even complained about the business itself, saying they didn't want to order CO2 for the soda machine. There was only one drink option: fruit punch or lemonade. I've never been so disappointed with a meal.

This place was great in medina. Parma location could have a day off today. the food was cold and had to be warmed again, soda machine from most drinks. And as we wanted to pour our drinks, the worker tells us that the drinks are flat today. why were we accused of drinks when they are flat and out of half the choice. her answer was “it is from our control”, which is different from the charge for him. two thumbs down, will not be back

I am so disappointed. I've always loved Dickey's in the past, but they have really gone downhill. The food was cold, undercooked, and lacking flavor. The evening meal was tough and dry. I paid $18.95 for a three-meat combination with two sides, and the portions were quite small—with no drink included. The barbecue sauce was so watery. I expected higher quality for the price I paid. Save your money.

Mac and cheese was okay, the pulled pork and burnt ends were good with a little bbq sauce. I could definitely do without the chicken though. The dinner roll was so hard and dry that eating it was not an option beyond 2 small bites. Baked beans weren't even thoroughly cooked, they were crunchy. Rather expensive for the quality and meal portion size. I got the brownie, it was okay too, wouldn't get it again though.
