One of the truly successful Black owned businesses in Paris, they offer food that definitely outstrips the taste and flavor of others! The stagg here are more than patient and kind, they share an effusive spirit reminiscent of American Louisana energy! One of the best sandwiches I had in Paris was right here! And they offer a Drink, Sandwich and Dessert combo for less than 8E or about $8 in 2022. I couldn't stop myself from taking a bite of the sandwich to even take a picture! I've been to Grand Prix winners and more, but thar almond pain chocolat is a unique winner and standout in Paris! I could not find another like it! A nice quick bite across from the bus stop.
I lived around the corner of this boulangerie for three weeks and I never got bored of the pastries, breads and desserts they sold. The staff were happy to accommodate and correct my broken French. Thanks to the staff of the bakery, I learned how to request the products I wanted in French and what the word 'chauffé ' means (they tend to ask if you want a croque or quiche warmed by asking 'chaufé? ' .
Black truffle risotto (their specialty) was unbelievableThe best service we have had in Paris even though our French skills are almost nonexistent.
A charming little spot, specializing in - you guessed it - black truffles! It's cozy and elegant without being pompous.
Great bakery! Great quality and low cost pastries! Baguette costs under one euro! The baguette is really fluffy on the inside and flaky on the outside when you break it. The croissants are equally amazing in quality. On the first day, we got a baguette, one chocolate croissant, and one plain croissant for 3.15 euros. We have been going to this bakery everyday since we found it. Try to go when there is a line up so you can get a freshly baked baguette. It is a bit harder to eat the baguette when it is cold.
