Bidra med feedbackWe stay in the adjacent mercury hotel, which is charming and had great hopes for the restaurant. My husband and I ordered each one an aperitif, no problem. We then ordered our meals, only 3 choices. We both had the tin tin of beef, ordered mine with a bernaise and my husband with a spitting sauce. both were ordered moderately rare. When they went out, my husband had the wrong sauce, mistakes happen, they replaced it. my steak was well cooked and about 1/4 inch thick, similar to a cheap quick frying. Nobody checked to see how it was. I ate half by hoping it would be better, and because I was hungry, but I gave up. When I told them, everything we had was a sorry and the bill, the hotel master had never come and hadn't said anything. Moreover, we tried to order wine on the menu that was listed as a half bottle, and we were told that they were only available at the glass or at the full bottle. just a bad experience all around! part of our fault for not checking trip advisor first. learning.
