We've come several times and we've never been run. Very good value quality price with fork. Nice table of Montmartre away from being a tourist catch, neighborhood clientele too. Good french cuisine served with a smile.

We dined here 4 times in 10 days! (because we liked it, but also because we had to solve a small credit card problem . On the first evening, the guy was neither talkative nor full of smiles, but he gave good suggestions; on the following...days, he became a bit humorous and more friendly (speaking in French, of course . Over the various meals, we tried some starters, different kinds of steaks, that varied from good to excellent; the confit de canard , usually very good; tasty salads etc.; and the surprise potatoes, a source of jokes in our family. Their official name is pommes de terres a l 'ail (potatoes with garlic and when they actually came like that, they were excellent: dry, tasty, crispy; but often, the potatoes were instead cooked in very different ways: either fried, or stewed (not very good , or almost mashed...: . The owner explained that he was missing...?(our French is not very good . We cannot believe they had no more garlic...: . Anyway, the food quality was definitely worth the 15 20 Euros per person that we usually spent, drinks excluded.

When in paris, working close by. I make it a point to have lunch there. Good daily specials. Last week I tried the rack of lamb with sautéed green beans and another day I had a super salad parisienne. service can be a bit slow...on the rush hour, but great mom and pop café with good value for money.
