Bidra med feedbackDespite its unassuming appearance, this small restaurant showcases the talent of a young chef who consistently delivers delicious and innovative dishes. I have visited multiple times for breakfast, lunch, and coffee, enjoying their freshly made cupcakes and muffins each time. I have never been disappointed.
I visited the Red Tractor Cafe for the first time today, only to discover that they will be closing in 8 days. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the eggs benedict, which he claims are the best on the coast. I opted for the sweet potato pancakes, which were absolutely delicious. It's unfortunate to see this cafe closing.
My favorite local place for all day breakfast and lunch. Friendly efficient staff .Big wooden tables. Nice to sit outside and watch street. Dogs are given a waterbowl. The menu is imaginative using top local produce. Cooked to order so hot and fresh. Love the smoothy of the day and wonderful classic eggs benedict. A lovely experience in a suburb by the water with some interesting dress shops fresh produce too.
Firstly, to be able to make a booking online only 2 hours prior was impressive. And to make the booking was very easy. Secondly, the philosophy behind the cafe is fantastic, sourcing local food, and trying to reduce waste! Thirdly, the food was beautiful, the coffee great and the service warm & friendly. Will be back.
Ok I'm a coffee snob! But the problem I've found with organic coffee is that it doesn't always taste great or you are being price gouged or both.Thats all changed here , the coffee at the Red tractor tastes great, the prices are generally the same as everyone else [ even lower for a smaller cup] and the staff that run it are delightful, friendly , and very consistent baristas. The cakes all appear to be homemade, and the Breakfasts we have seen look good too, so its all pretty good, the only problem seems to be that its getting very popular .
