Nighthawk Vineyard Winery - Paola

I stumbled across this winery with a friend and it turned out to the happiest accident ever! Everyone was kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The place is beautiful and the wine is delicious. We walked out with a case of wine and a new place to add to our list of favorite wineries!

I'm probably too biased to leave this review; but I'm going to anyway. This is absolutely my favorite place in Kansas. (Not my favorite winery...my favorite *place*. For seven years, whenever I needed an escape, a refuge, a hug or--of course--a delicious glass of wine, this was MY place.The people who run it, love it. They put their care into everything, every detail. This place, with its crucial balancing of art and science, can be transformative.Step into their world--its a microclimate and a microcosm of the best parts of the actual world--and you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I stumbled on this place totally by accident, but we are so thankful we did! The vineyard is adorable, the wine is great, and the atmosphere was perfect! Sit at a cute table in the grass, covered by trees, surrounded by beautiful plants, with a harpist playing! WOW- so peaceful. Then walk on over to Gigi's cafe for some awesome pizza while you sip your wine and relax. Cannot wait to go back! Also- totally stealing the cutest way to keep your wine chilled on a hot summer day

Very serene surroundings, lots to explore. Ideal setting for a wedding party. Better take a bus though. Back roads are gravel and the place might be very hard to find. Wear comfortable shoes. The sangria here is amazing!
