Art Deco Valley Cafe

Wow. We were totally impressed with this stunning restaurant/cafe/bar. Absolutely immaculate gardens with a farm background set in a river valley. Plenty of parking. Food was nicely presented. Good coffee helpful friendly staff. Lots of different area's to make yourself at home. Tables under the tree's, sit indoors, on the shelteted deck, at bar stools or in leather couches. A log fire must be nice in the winter months. A small play area for children with geese and chooks nearby to add that lovely rural atmosphere. If there is such a thing as a beautiful museli breakfast then here is the place to get it!

Perfect place to stop for breakfast on the way up to Taupo. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was casual bit inviting. Great playground plus some farm animals to keep the kids entertained. They've really thought of everything.

Cute little spot to grab a bite on the way out of town. We got the breakfast pizza and the corn stack. They have dogs to pet, a farm area, some play equipment, a nice garden, and outdoor seating.

A good cafe to take a break after a long drive. They serve good breakfast and tea. A star less because of the muffin that was not as good as expected. However the service was good and people here were friendly. They offer lots of tables for people to sit outside. Lovely to spend a sunny day here.

Great location with loads of different seating places (these were outside) so even through the car park was full you didn’t feel like you were sitting on top of each other. There was a good selection of food. The boys choose the sweet muffin but found the cream cheese a bit weird. I had the sausage roll which was nice. We all had iced chocolate mocha which were excellent (however it advertised cream on top which we had none of)
