I visited Hardee's in Lynn Haven today, August 18th at 8:10 in the morning and was very displeased with the service. My total came to $10 and some change, and I paid with a $20 bill. They only gave me 53 cents back, so I asked for the rest of my change. The manager came over with a bad attitude, acting as though I had inconvenienced them by paying with a $10 bill instead. After some confusion, they finally brought me back $10 instead of the correct amount of $9. I decided to let it go and left, only to discover that part of my order was missing when I got home. I do not have time to go back and deal with the manager's attitude, so I will not be returning. This was my first bad experience at this location, and I am considering taking my business elsewhere. The way they spoke to their employees in front of me was unprofessional, and they need to reevaluate their management. Overall, the experience was frustrating enough for me to avoid going back.
They may want to think about changing their hours of operation. I was there this morning 15 minutes after they “opened” and waited 5+ minutes at the drive through, and even tried to get someone’s attention at the window. No one would take my order or even acknowledge my presence.
I have become slightly obsessed with the freshly made omelet biscuit at the Hardee's truck stop on Highway 20 and Highway 231 in Fountain, Florida. However, the store in Lynn Haven does not make them fresh daily and they taste horrible.
