Bidra med feedbackThe food is excellent!! Great cocktails. Very distinctive dishes, beautifully seasoned and prepared. Vegetarian options: Excellent eggplant, tofu/scallops
Very nice Asian fusion food. Good atmosphere for friends getting together or business meetup. For the couple of times I have been there, the service has always been a little bit rushed and condescending, which is a minus. Other than that the place is pretty good.
Great experience! The food was brilliant, it has been since I went to a place where I liked everything that I ordered and I want to come back to try other items on the menu. Coconut Prawns Crispy, hot and the sauce was lip smacking. Banh Mi Roti and Sauce this the first time I had sauce which wasn't just sweet. It tastes of the spices and the coconut milk and sweetness didn't overpower the taste of the sauce. Tiger Prawns and Egg Noodles my favorite from the menu. The noodles were soft and the prawns were grilled so well. The chilli sauce seasoning on them was spectacular. Yellow Chicken Curry well cooked and tender chicken with a well balanced curry. The service was super quick, I don't think we waited more than 5 mins for anything. The Banana Beignets were also great but the highlight of that dish is the Coconut Gelato. I am definitely coming back here again! Parking: There is a public parking structure behind the restaurant.
I recently dined at Tamarine in Palo Alto and was thoroughly disappointed. The lamb chops were incredibly chewy and lacked any real flavor. For a restaurant that prides itself on offering a unique culinary experience, the food was quite ordinary and not any better than what you’d find at any other average Asian place. Definitely not worth the price or the hype.
This is my favorite spot to eat in Palo Alto. My family comes down from SF just to eat here. They do everything well: drinks, mocktails (kiwimockjito), apps (coconut prawns and spring rolls), entrees (garlic noodles, yellow chicken curry, empress rice, coconut rice, twice baked tofu) and dessert. The clay pot cod is a delicious signature dish that comes boiling hot and doused in molasses. The beignets filled with banana are perfectly paired with coconut gelato (or sorbet if you ask for it) and the pear belle Helene is a perfectly cooked pear that they douse in milk chocolate at the table.
