Spalti - Palo Alto

A pretty standard semi classy Italian place with all the sorts of dishes you would expect. It has a dim Mediterranean atmosphere on the inside as well as outside seating and lots of parking around the back. The food is fine but not especially inspiring, and I've never had any issues with service or anything

A friend and I shared the grilled polenta appetizer and each got a ravioli dish that was a daily special. It ended up being way too much food. We could have easily split one appetizer and one entree, even though he has a pretty healthy appetite. The food in any case was excellent. The restaurant was a bit too dark. Also, the women's bathroom bizarrely had a full length mirror facing the toilet. I've never seen myself going to the bathroom, and that certainly did not improve my dining experience.

Great food. I was so stuffed, couldn't stop myself from finishing my food it was that good. The staff took very good care of us. We were a party of 17 and they pulled off the ultimate task. We all got our food at the same time. And it was all good, no complaints.

Food was excellent. Friendly service and good presentation. Prices were reasonable. We'll be back.

Lovely Italian place right off the main drag. Tons of parking nearby but can fill up fast. Menu changes frequently (including the specials) but the fish (Sole, Salmon, etc) is top notch! Fresh salads and deserts. A great place to take a date.
