Bidra med feedbackMy daughter and I had a really magical experience in Yumiko Sushi. Not only is every detail designed to be authentic Japanese, the Japanese-American owner could not be more friendly. His enthusiasm for all things Japanese even inspired us to order Japanese toothpaste from Amazon after our departure! For the first time we ate Sushi with our hands and by putting our full faith in the chef and eating what he sent us. From the hot oshibori and ing readings to the end it was pure joy. The cook and the waiting staff were also competent and friendly. Our only regret is that it will now be difficult to eat in less sushi facilities.
In typical American fashion we showed ourselves last minute, unannounced as group of 4 and asked for a table. They went beyond and beyond to get us a place to make sure they had enough rice for us, and let us order our time and enjoy our meal to the last detail. We are very grateful for their patience and generosity. We fully intend to revise this time with reservation.
This place blew me away. Not only is it visually stunning but it is an authentic experience. The food is out of this world fresh and delicious.
I visited when they first opened and Jennifer was my waitress who is a dear friend of the yoga class. The sushi roll was excellent and love was delicious. I enjoyed Tge experience and will be back when I can get a babysitter.
The experience in this restaurant leaves you breathless. Coming from a traditional Edo time frame, the decoration and materials used to structure this restaurant, you will feel graduated in Japan. I can't go for dinner yet, but the visit to this place will really be missed. Thank you for the experience We see you again
