Bidra med feedbackStumbled across the Speed Trap during a work trip to Colorado Springs. The location was very unique and I loved the drive into Palmer Lake. Service was ok. The server had several customers and she was doing her best for sure. The menu was very dirty gritty. I ordered the bacon, egg, scallion quiche it reminded me of a pot pie that was microwaved. I wasn't overly impressed with the quiche. My coworker ordered the French Toast...it looked absolutely delicious. Next I'm trying the French toast. Hoping to update my review during my next visit.
Absolutely the worst breakfast I have ever had, and it took 40 mins to arrive! Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
Terrible. Waited over an hour for the food at it was mediocre. Not seasoned well. Cold. Rude staff Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Avocado Toast, Speedtrap Sandwich, Breakfast Burrito
Rude and condescending service. Spoke to my family like unruly first graders. Continue to be rude when apologized to. My international guests had a lovely time at Rosie’s instead. Usually the food is tasty and the menu is interesting. I use to bring in all my out-of-town guests whenever I had visitors. Coffee orders are sometimes touch go (but good, if not what you ordered) and service is slow but the food was delicious. I use to enjoy patronizing a local establishment. Tables are small and not good for groups larger than 3-4.
I stumbled across this quaint coffee shop and decided to stop in for a light breakfast. My husband had eggs, bacon and potatoes. He loved it. I ordered a fruit plate since I wasn't that hungry. It was huge! There was cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapple, strawberries and blueberries. Wonderful!! The only thing I didn't like was the sweet tea. It had a slight bitter aftertaste. The waitstaff were attentive and very friendly. I definitely recommend this place.
