Colony Club - Palm Springs

This was an excellent place for our sons wedding sample dinner. The Cabanas have been beautifully decorated in white and silver, giving a beautiful contrast to the dark green and white and the beautiful vintage towel decorated with all accompanying furniture. It was very “old Hollywood”. It is illuminated with Tiki torches and a fire pit and offers beautiful ambience for a special event. The event coordinator Marlena was excellent! She had regular and reliable communication, fully described with precise details and costs before we progressed with our event. This is an excellent place for a special event or just for dinner. Come on!

Every bite was delicious!! I have the crispy pig bell cup and the salmon main course. Both plates were on the petite side, but the amazing taste and exquisite preparation and presentation made more than for them. The pairings within each plate may appear somewhat strange on paper, but the contrast of sweet and hearty in each other perfectly complemented! Definitely on my way to the list of restaurants, especially when I'm in the mood to treat myself to something really nice. Atmosphere was very nice and service with 100% professional and friendly.

Our wine was delicious (Tenshon Cab by Paso Robles), and we had carpaccio, hamachi crudo, blistered shisitos as apps. Then the salmon; the vegan delicate squash and the Stroxxapreti pasta. Our server, Samara was fantastic. We will definitely come back.

Before dinner by drinks. We could sneak some seats at the bar. We had the Purple 86, the nineteen thirty six, and the Chita Rivera. All drinks were really good. I must say I was part of my Chita Rivera jalapeño infused Tequila. Alex was our bartender relatively new in the area but made great drinks. The dinner menu looked great, but we had reservations elsewhere. Had some pictures outside the pool scene that looked super cool. Good location near the city. Must stay for one night and have dinner.
