Jwb - Palm Springs

Got seated at 630, food not available until 8pm. Repeatedly asked for foods or appetizers, but we’re told the kitchen was understaffed. Waiter said “I get it’s really bad, so just take it out of my tip” given he was the only one working multiple tables that didn’t seem fair or reasonable. The food was actually good and well cooked when it eventually arrived. Had to get the last dish to go… Of note they did not offer to comp anything and billed fully. Wouldn’t recommend. If you’re at the hotel there are some really good and staffed) restaurants within a mile, it’s worth the drive .

Chicken sandwich that chicken was black almost burned. Upgrade to garlic parm fries $2 switch fries to veg up charge of $3. Asked for med rare received rare cool.

The hotel remodel looks nice the restaurant is a bit cramped for the size of the hotel. No one was manning the check in station. We were sat at a table in a well traveled area, but we might as well have been invisible as no one showed up to take our order. The noise level here is really loud and the table next to us were particular obnoxious. I had to yell my order over the man at the next table who felt it necessary to play his iPhone at full volume for all to hear. Food was so so I had the fish tacos they were way overstuffed positive note crunchy tacos but way too much stuff, so it all just fell out on the plate leaving easily enough for two more tacos. No Diet Coke so no non sugar alternative except water. . Service was slow and really lousy. Wouldn’t eat here again .

Server was great. Food was excellent. The kitchen was a bit slow but Manager made it right. Surprised how good the food was…will return.
