Sbarro - Palm Desert

I went there with my family today 11/07/2021 at 5:30 pm! Two employees ,young men one with girl like long hair short and the other tall chubby with jerry curl hair said that the kitchen is closed so therefore they?re not making a large pizza anymore!They were really rude about it too that I almost lashed out at them! I asked for the manager and they said he wasn?t there butthat his name is Pablo if I wanted to come back at a later time like another day to speak with him! But if that Pablo is who Ithink it is then he is the issue why these employees are like this because they follow by example! The kid with the long hairsaid he ain?t making no whole pizza because he said he personally was done and was gonna go home but he continued to helpcustomers for another 20 minutes which made no sense! The online website for your location says they would close at 7pm so whywouldn?t they make pizza?? I took my money to little ceasars pizza on my way back home and Some domino?s pizza stuffed cheesebread ! So I spent about $30 which I was gonna spend there at sbarros pizza! Honestly after reading other reviews here onlineafter today?s incident I?m tempted to contact bbb and the news to follow up with this establishment! Another young lady after myencounter also ask for a large pizza and they told her no! She ended up going to Charley?s Philly Steaks next to Sbarro!

I'm an elderly Italian woman who knows a good Italian pizza, and this is the place to come. The staff works very hard, and the managers were very kind to me, even directing me to Macy's. I've heard that people don’t want to work these days, so I'm grateful they were there. I really enjoyed the pepperoni slice. Thank you!

Hello! I recently visited the mall for the first time in a while since the pandemic, and I had a craving for Sbarro pizza. I used to go there often in 2019 and before, so I was really excited to have a Stromboli again. I want to mention that the staff made me feel so welcome! The manager, who was wearing glasses, was incredibly nice, even though the place was busy. I enjoyed my Stromboli and Pepsi and absolutely loved the food! Thank you for the great meal! I’ll definitely be back!

I visited Sbarro this past Sunday and noticed that there were only two employees at the front handling customers and preparing food. They were doing their best to keep things moving. Although it took a little while for them to attend to me, when they did, they were incredibly friendly and apologized for the wait. The food was delicious and served hot! I was really taken aback by how they managed to keep up with the rush, even while dealing with some rude customers. These workers definitely deserve a raise and some time off! I will definitely be returning soon.

The employee with long hair mentioned he wouldn’t be making any large pizzas because he was done for the day and wanted to go home. Ironically, he continued to assist other customers for an additional 20 minutes, which made no sense to me. According to the restaurant's website, they were supposed to be open until 7 PM, so I’m puzzled as to why they couldn’t fulfill my order. I ended up taking my money to Little Caesars and purchased some stuffed cheese bread from Domino's on my way home, spending about $30 that I had intended to use at Sbarro. After reflecting on today’s experience and reading other negative reviews online, I’m considering reporting this situation to the Better Business Bureau and the local news. Also, after I left, another young lady asked for a large pizza and was also told no; she ended up going to Charley’s Philly Steaks next door.
