Saquella Café - Palm Beach County

This place reopened with new owners about five days ago. Everything is more expensive, the whole menu is different. My favorite dish was ruined (Caprese Omelette Bruschetta). They turned it from something presented like a Benedict into a sandwich with fewer ingredients and they removed the side salad and still increased the price. Imagine charging $25 for a Reuben, $33 for gnocchi without a protein, $20 for a breakfast sandwich. How can you change $25 for a smash burger and fries? The bakery is also massively reduced in size and selection.If they don’t make some serious changes I will never come back. Save your money. They did improve the decor of the restaurant. At least that looks nice.If you liked this place before, you will be disappointed.Post-response edit: you can look up the dinner menu on your own website. My husband and I stopped in to Saquella's for lunch one day. With such an extensive menu, we had a hard time deciding what to get. We chose The Rachel and The David. Service was great and food was delicious. Looking forward to our next visit.Helene and George from Maine

We’ve been going here for the coffee and cornettos most mornings. Delicious! When we learned they opened for dinner recently we couldn’t wait to try it. What an amazing menu! The chef brought us a sampling of the menu and each dish was as good as the last. Everything is prepared to perfection! True authentic Italian cuisine! Give it a try; you won’t be disappointed.

Don’t be fooled by the cafe façade, Saquella is serving the best Italian food in the Boca area. Owned and ran by Italians, the food is carefully prepared and made to indulge in. The waitstaff are well trained and versed in all topics of conversation, ensuring your evening is full of entertainment. The atmosphere outside is lovely, with a full shaded area being the perfect spot to share dinner with friends. The Salmon carpaccio was a delight, along with the homemade Roman Carbonara. Will definitely be returning soon.
