Donkey Inn - Palatine

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It was my first time dining there, but I will definitely return next time I am in the area.

If I could, I would give this place zero stars. The bartender, Kristen, made our experience very unpleasant. She ignored us, was rude and dismissive. All she did was sit at the end of the bar talking to two guys. We waited a long time to get a drink and when we finally got her attention, she acted out. I will never go back to that bar again. It was the worst experience.

We came in Friday, got no greeting. Sat ourselves. Tables around us were helped but we never got acknowledged. We waited at the bar got a round of drinks after 10 min. Sat at a table, no one came by. We left.

Little busy for my Sunday for breakfast but the crowd is always kind fun to be with And the only photos I got from my Bar Tender the greatest **** marys I've had in a while No thrills just a great drink Thanks again will be back soon

I gave Donkey Inn another try after I received a response from the owner. The 2nd time was Great! The server at the bar was very professional and nice. The food was Awesome! Amazing. I will be returning in the near future. Location in Palatine on Plum Grove road
