Kapuluan Vista Resort Restaurant

A nice getaway from the commercially owned Resorts. The feel like family treatment and the elegant taste of the Philippines decorated resort makes you feel like you are in the Philippines but with enough modern entities that you don't left out. The food is very well prepared and tasty. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a choice between luxury of Air conditioning and a large room or a smaller room with a fan. Prices are reasonable and the service is extremely welcoming.

Cocktails here are great, probably the best on Blue Lagoon area. Try to catch their happy hour before 7 pm to get buy 1 take 1 on drinks, they have delicious and potent margaritas. For meals, get the seafood sisig and dinuguan (savory pork blood stew). The latter is the Bicolano-Iloko type with gata and crispy bagnet on top. Delicious, but prices are on the expensive side and servings are quite small (think Php 300 per dish good for one).

Food is good and the place is relaxing. Staff are very well trained and lovely location! Free wifi and cocktails on happy hours are excellent!

The visual assault of the resorts before this one shouldn't hold you back. Keep faith that there is respite as you get past the circus of gawdy architecture (complete with hollywood-type hillside sign!) and superhero statues. The final stretch of resorts beginning with Kapuluan give you hope there is rest to be had for your eyes and soul. This place literally works with the natural environment complete with vermicast and backyard vegetable plots. The food is good and they even had Brazil aero press coffee. My kind of place!

Since its far from from the other resorts around.. this brings peaceful environment. A small pool to dip or straight to the beach. Snorkeling gears also available. There is also an acoustic bar at night. Staff are so nice. I had a great time to relax. Ps. Not hot shower.
