Osteria 19/29 - PADOVA

Super great food, great fish, value for money and very polite staff. Beautiful garden, located right in the centre of the city.

We happened upon this restaurant by chance and it was the best meal I have had in Italy since we arrived. The atmosphere on the veranda is magical. Our waiter was efficient and unobtrusive. Our meal was superb and correctly proportionec. I highly recommend it

We had dinner at this place with friends on a Saturday night. The room was very cold and thougha few guestshad complained, nothing was actually done. The antipasto was bland and sad, it says7 starters, but you actually get a plate with 4 cichetti, one shrimp, and a small portion of muscle soup. the first course was mediocre at best, and the second course came after 45 min (their excuse was that there was a large table that had to be served... and the fish was cold. This place serves a fixed menu, so when two of us didn't want the (unattractive cold fish , it was taken away with no alternative offered. We were charged full price for this very bad meal.

Gustato una grigliata di pesce, fatta molto bene. Peccato che l'ambiente non dia l'idea di pulizia...si può migliorare...

Buonissimo il rapporto qualità-prezzo. Ho dato perché il cibo non si è ripresentato di notte. Oltre a questo, anche il vino (prosecco) della casa non ha avuto conseguenze. Indi si suppone che la qualità sia buona. Un paio di appunti, però vanno aggiunti: la location: un po' da svecchiare e rendere meno cupa; le quantità: andrebbero riviste e rese meno abbondanti; contemporaneamente andrebbe migliorata la mise en place e l'impiattamento.
