Wienerschnitzel - Oxnard

The food was disappointing and they forgot to include the corn dogs that were supposed to come with my order. It was frustrating to discover this after getting home.

I remember in the 1980s when the AM/PM mini market used to sell burgers for 4 for $1. They were basic burgers that didn't prioritize flavor, much like the ones at this restaurant. They were very unappetizing. I haven't tried their hot dogs, but I won't be going back to find out.

I mean, it's kind of pricey for what you are getting. 4+ dollars for some soft serve ice cream is a bit much. The food overall is a 5 for heart attack value- so there's that.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this restaurant. When I unwrapped my chili cheese dog, I discovered a half-eaten lollipop directly underneath it. This is unacceptable, especially since I have never had any issues with this restaurant in the past. There have been other instances where they have not properly prepared my food, such as only using a small amount of chili on each chili cheese dog.

It's hard to go wrong with Weinerschnitzel. My only gripe, would be the prices. Sometimes they seem a bit steep for chili dogs, but then everybody is more expensive these days... so it's all relative. Compared to other fast food joints, this locationrarely messes your order up, just remember to check for forks if you get chili cheese fries! They get a bit messy to eat withyour hands haha!
