Bidra med feedbackA wet, miserable Saturday, but sitting right in front of the fire. the plate was tempting, but much too huge for 2 old girls. split the steak sandwich, very tasty. the left room for the poppy cake, yum and my friend inhaled. his tiramisu, wein was beautiful.
What a sound! we had the best lunch with the most friendly staff. eating was so fresh and tasty that we were disappointed when the tellers were empty. the best steak sandwich of all time, the roasted veg spaghetti was delicious, like the smoked chicken salad. the environment...below the autumn leaves magical. We'll be back next time we're here.
We have visited this weingut a few (5 times) and have always found the food and service consistently and by a high standard. some may sue the speed of the service, but if they are after the almost food, there is a mcdonalds in glenrowan only on the street....This weing is for a cozy lunch and enjoy the unique situation made. children can play on the extended races, while a series of patrons brought pets. I always enjoyed the prosecco and the tempranillo we had at the weekend was delicious. we share olive, calamari, chips, steak sandwich, huhn parma and chicken salad. delicious. we're coming back.
We had wonderful afternoon yesterday at Sam Miranda, celebrating my birthday with a large group of friends. The food was excellent; tasting platters with generous amounts of delicious food, bowls of pasta and chips, all followed by delicious desserts. The day was quite hot, but...sitting in the shade of the trees, the group was very comfortable. The food was complemented by a selection of Sam Miranda's great wines. The service was prompt, even though the restaurant was very busy. Our thanks to Rachel and her team for ensuring my birthday celebration was all that I had hoped for.
We visited Sam Miranda today and our expectations were exceeded. Upon entry what caught my eye immediately was that this place was more than a winery. It was a place that was that offered those valuable extras… from the bedazzling toppers to the scented candles...that instantly excited the senses… there was a lot to explore and I love exploring new products. But hey you went for the wine and possibly the food so lets get to that. We got the sharing platter that came with arancini, calamari, bruschetta, frittata amongst cheeses and antipasto with accompaniments. Each piece of food was delicious. The calamari the best Ive had… ever! Now to the drinks. The spritz cocktail came with fairy floss and sorbet. A great cocktail to start and mark an occasion (the start of the week for one! . Whilst there I tasted the Prosato, Pinot Grigio and the Saperavi. All of which were top quality. We felt so impressed with the service, the products, the food and the wine that we decided to become members. What I loved about joining was not only knowing Id be in for quality wine delivery every quarter but they added key they provide. The idea is that every time you visit the winery you use the key to attempt to unlock a barrel filled with products including wines. What a novel idea. I would highly recommend visiting Sam Miranda. We will definitely return!
