Bidra med feedbackLunch at the Tavern was everything we were led to expect it to be and more! Service was flawless, our meals were excellently cooked and prepared and attractively presented. If anything, the quantity of food was a tad more than I am used to for lunch, but that is hardly anything to complain about. As far as value goes, considering the quality of the food and service, the cost was quite reasonable. In fact, I had expected the bill to be somewhat more than it was. We ate a late lunch on a mid week afternoon and, as expected, the noise level was low. I cannot speak to what it might be at other times, but it was quite comfortable when we were there. We were delighted with the experience and hope to re live it soon.
We had a very nice experience, as usual. The service was very good, the food excellent, and the ambiance very cozy and comfortable. First time for our daughter and her fiancé, and they enjoyed it as well.
Fantastic food and service! The crab cake and oyster po-boy are fabulous, and the sticky toffee pudding, created by the British born and trained chef, is a revelation! Don't miss it! Finally, to add to the sweetness of the meal, the staff will treat you like family. Run don't walk to the Inn!
We waited 25 minutes for a server to approach our table. While our food was good, the seafood selections on the menu were quite limited for an Eastern Shore restaurant. Additionally, the ladies' room could use some updating, and the servers appeared disheveled. The inn itself gave off a sense of neglect. Overall, we were very disappointed and would not recommend the Robert Morris Inn. It used to be exceptional when the Gibsons owned it.
The pork tenderloin is outstanding. The portions for all the dishes are quite generous, and thankfully, they didn't enforce their policy of charging extra for splitting orders. The service is more relaxed compared to the food. We sat in a booth that made it easy to have a conversation.
