Kanata BBQ - Ottawa

I have been wanting to try Hanahana for a while now, and I finally decided to go for lunch today.

If you're looking for sushi that's ice-cold and rock-hard, this is the place to go.

I highly recommend trying the delicious Korean dishes at this restaurant, especially the fresh and tasty sushi bento. The Gamja-tang is also excellent. Don't miss out on the top recommendation, the Bibimbap.

We had a pig roast in our backyard yesterday. We were about 35 people. David arrived with pig, bbq and rain tarp shortly after noon. By the time our guests started to arrive at 4 o'clock, the pig was already looking delicious on the spit. At about 5:30, David, who had tended the bbq the entire time, brought the beast into our kitchen and set it on the island "to rest". He went home, changed into his special chef togs and returned with coleslaw, potato salad, Caesar salad, baked beans and dinner rolls ... enough of each to feed an army. We had a wonderful feast. Our guests were thrilled. We would do this again in a heartbeat.
