Ahora Restaurant Mexicain - Ottawa

This was a unique place to go! The atmosphere was completely themed, which was really cool, though it was a bit loud and overpowering for me. This place is a mix of cafeteria and restaurant style we ordered and payed for our meal in advance at the counter and helped ourselves to the water and a free salsa bar, but we dined in and the food is brought to our table. I'd definitely say it's a must try in Ottawa!

Cute little Mexican restaurant in the basement, and instantly transported to a different world. Generous food portions (we ordered the ones with 1 side, but you Can also order the main meal version that comes with 2 sides). Had 2 tacos (shrimps) and a beef steak burrito, and were really impressed by how delicious they were. Definitely worth the space in your tummy! Medium level salsa was really spicy even though we can take heat. Love the corona-margarita drink!! Just make sure you don’t drink and drive yeah.

We had a great time at this charming Mexican restaurant during our brief trip to Ottawa, and we are already looking forward to returning! The food was fantastic and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

Very very tasty ! The food is authentic and fresh, they have so many options..I'd say this is my favorite Mexican place in Ottawa. The lady at the cash was very kind and joyful.

My family and I were in Ottawa and thankfully we were lucky to be staying just up the street from Ahora. Inside the restaurant was a wall that was covered with awards that this restaurant has won. We sat outside and the service was fantastic. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas, a nacho platter, chicken, and shrimp tacos. Everything was absolutely delicious, nice portions, and reasonably priced. I'd definitely be eating there again the next time we're in town.
