Sip Tea - Ottawa

Another thing I noticed was the staff bursting into laughter right after I placed my order and waited for my drink. I’m not exactly sure what was so amusing about a customer ordering a matcha milk tea with cheese foam! Anyway, I found the Shizuoka Matcha Milk Tea to be too sweet for my taste, even though I opted for the lowest sugar level at 30%. The cheese foam ended up overpowering the strong matcha flavor that I was hoping for.

I've been a fan of Sip Tea for years, but for the past two weeks, I've been getting hard, stale tapioca in my fresh fruit slushy. Come on, guys, you can do better than this!

You have to try the watermelon cheese and mango cheese. They're amazing!

The tea itself looks great, but the taste doesn 't quite reach the same level. Overall, the tea looks like a 5 and tastes about 3.5. Service is friendly and helpful. The location is quite small, so don 't expect seating, at most about 8 if empty. Sip tea offers a 1 liter option in bucket size, which is the largest size I have seen in the NCR.

The bubble tea is really good here! I loved the crème brûlée. The seating area is quite cute but I wish there was outdoor seating as well. Good experience.
