Shorty's Sandwich Shop - Ottawa

Every meal at Shorty's Sandwich Shop is prepared to perfection using fresh ingredients, and their soups are consistently delicious! Their prices remain lower than those of most fast food places, and the food is infinitely healthier (they use an air fryer instead of oil, and the fries are perfectly crisp without all that extra grease). Plus, the food tastes great! I frequently choose Shorty's for lunch and for all our company catering needs. The staff is wonderful and friendly, and they adhere to all safety protocols for COVID. I can't recommend this place enough. I'm so glad they're open again!

The sandwiches and service at Shorty's are truly exceptional! I can’t choose a favorite because the Chicken Parm, Po'Boy, pulled pork, and braised beef sandwiches are all fantastic. Their breakfast sandwiches are made fresh to order with real eggs and quality ingredients! The prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and efficient, making it a great atmosphere, and it’s a fun restaurant to follow on social media.

Amazing little sandwich shop, homemade food made by friendly staff, I eat here at least once a week. Always fresh, made right in front of you. Good selection of sandwiches,  and great specials!

Great little spot. I've gone to Shorty's over a dozen times now and have not been disappointed. Great selection, fresh veggies and excellent service. They even stayed open late to make sandwiches for my partner when he popped in just as they were closing up. Amazing. Keep it up.

Awesome sandwiches! I try and make it in a few times a week. Great location if you work on Colonnade. Friendly staff and amazing cookies.
