Moose Mcguire’s - Ottawa

I visited the restaurant last Thursday and had a disappointing experience. At first, we weren't attended to at all, so I had to get my own drink from the bar. The bartender was unfriendly. I ordered pizza, but it was terrible—dripping with oil. The waitress seemed out of it. I asked to speak with the manager, but no one ever came. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.

I had a delightful lunch at Moose McGuire's today and ordered the Club Sandwich. It was incredibly flavorful, served in generous portions, and paired with delicious fries. The prices were quite reasonable, too. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try. My only minor concern was that some of the vinyl seat benches in a few booths were worn and split, which made sitting a bit uncomfortable. However, don't let this small drawback deter you from having a great dining experience!

As an out-of-town visitor, I stopped by on a bit of a whim and truly enjoyed the restaurant's atmosphere. The Reuben sandwich was outstanding!

I've been a few times now: I want to like this place. It has a nice charm, dinner if the booths have Nintendos setup, lots of TVs for sports, and regular live music, and the menu looks good.However, each time we've gone we've been disappointed by the kitchen. On this last visit, we waited 30 min for our food (burger and mussels), and the bacon and patty were burnt. The creamy garlic sauce on the mussels want very garlicky, but the spicy tomato sauce was great.All in all, it's good for beer and wings or nachos, but I keep getting disappointed by other menu options.
