Hokkaido Ramen Express - Ottawa

The ramen broth tasted like powdered garlic, with small chunks of it floating around. Instant ramen would've been a wiser choice.

I saw on the Internet that the restaurant open till 11pm. I came from gatineau to ottawa and there were closed at 10h36pm. We walked 45 minutes to get there just to know that they left 20 minutes ago. :

Best chinese noodle house. almost taste like home made noodle soup for the chinese. I would highly recommend. Only drawback is serving time is quite slow.

OK SO. listen here. this is not a ramen place, the sign outside the door just never went down. it’s actually a chinese place but the menu is surreal. i came here like, every day of my sophomore year in university. still come here many years later. good dishes include the beef or veggie noodle soups (like a pho or ramen vibe almost) and PEANUT noodles fried (i love the tofu or beef).. put some of that spicy sauce they got on top and you have yourself an exquisite meal. did u mention everything is under 10$? sometimes i pay 8$ for those noodles with tax.

My staple Chinese wonton, soup place. Love it. Just like back in China. No frills, nothing Wow. Just wholesome small street corner food.
