Bidra med feedbackHands down the BEST Indian restaurant in Ottawa ! This little place is an absolute gem for anyone who craves the typical desi flavour that is lacking in most Indian restaurants here. Their platters are well portioned and friendly on the pockets. Do give their chicken tikka masala , butter chicken , chicken curry and shahi butter paneer a try ! The indo-Chinese needs a bit more of improvement but otherwise everything else is fabulous ! The owners take their food seriously and the aroma of this place will surely make you crave for their delicious food more and more .
Came here for lunch and got their butter chicken platter. The butter chicken was great, as was the naan, and it was a good portion size. The rice was what you expect. The 'salad ' was pretty small and bad in comparison though, it was about 90% red onion and not much else, but it wasn 't really something that mattered to me. Service was okay, not specifically friendly but was still alright. Overall, it was a tasty filling lunch, and I 'd definitely go back again
Very big portions and freshly cooked. However, the chickpeas were undercooked which was too bad. Friendly staff and the food was ready quickly!
Great butter chicken. Amazing naan. Not a large sit down area and no A/C. Best bet is to take away.
What a treat on a cold February night. The Vegetarian Hakka Noodles were amazing. It was great to watch the chef cook it from scratch, with such pride and care. The service was also exceptional. I had no idea that I had walked in just after the official closing time. I was warmly greeted with a smile and no indication that I had to rush. When I apologized to the staff for inadvertently keeping them past closing time, they waved it off. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone who appreciates excellent food and service. It's a type of hospitality that I thought no longer existed. I will definitely be back.
