Food Mood is a family-run counter-service restaurant near Byward Market. The seating is very limited, it is probably more of an event. The restaurant itself is modest, but it is really a hidden gem! You also have many vegan options! I ordered: Vegan yaki udon (stir fried udon with smoked tofu and vegetables so saucy and spicy! Japchae (sleep glass noodles and vegetables roast potatoes and rice cake Everything was very delicious and portions were HUGE! Very recommended to check this place if you are looking for delicious food that the bank in Ottawa does not break.

I really enjoyed the vegan bibimbap at Food Mood! Great flavors and it was a very short waiting period. Just a warning for those who are not fans of hot food that there is a little on the spicy side. I'll be back to try more!
