Bidra med feedbackI used to love Second Cup and was eager to visit again while in Ottawa, especially since they removed them from my area north of Toronto. I usually indulge whenever I get the chance. I ordered my go-to hot chocolate and an oatmeal raisin cookie, but to my disappointment, they were out of cookies. It was 2 PM on a Sunday when I picked up my order and decided to use the washroom. Unfortunately, it was absolutely disgusting—so much so that I nearly felt sick. There was no way I was going to enjoy my hot chocolate after seeing such a filthy restroom. Did they even bother to clean the outside? It was such a waste of a perfectly good hot chocolate.
This is the worst Second Cup I’ve ever visited. The place is poorly maintained, and the interior looks outdated and unclean. The washroom clearly lacks regular cleaning; it was quite dirty, and there was no toilet paper or paper towels available.
Basic Second Cup store. They did have a problem making change for me when I paid in cash.
It seems a little empty during early morning for a coffee shop. Not sure if they were really happy to see me or not, but willing to give it a second chance. Smoothies are not available but still advertised. Used to love going there in 2018.
I was in your shop this morning around 10am and was served by a guy. I have never received worst customer service in my life. He was rude, rolling his eyes at me, sighed when I asked where the washroom was and didn't bother to tell me I needed a key to get in. When I came back from the locked doors looking for a key he rolled his eyes at me again and pointed at the counter where it was sitting. I advised him he wasn't being very nice and he could use some customer service skills. He then told me he didnt agree with the strike. I don't care what he agrees with, I am a customer and deserved to be treated nicely or atleast without the eye rolling!! He also did not give me my coffee as I asked for which I'm sure was done on purpose. I work right across the road from your location and have spent a lot of money there over the years. Unfortunately, I will never go again. I heard from several people today that they had a similar experience with him this morning. I have always had wonderful friendly service at your location. If you want to have any customers left, you may want to look at this employee as he needs an attitude adjustment! I never write these type of reviews but I was in customer service for most of my career and would never treat anyone like this regardless of what kind of a day I was having.
