Bowl Shop Takinami Shops Of Otaru North

Great place to visit for a tourist. Very small local market and a great atmosphere. However the good was similarly priced as normal restaurants and the food was just ok.

The seafood bowl here is a must-have. Ingredients are super fresh and delicious. Definitely not cheap but you pay for what you get and this is better value compared to good sushi restaurant anyway. But aside from the raw seafood, the grilled fish here is also surprisingly tasty, perfectly grilled, crispy skin, super juicy and tender. The breakfast set with grilled fish, rice, miso soup and pickles is so cheap for the portion and quality. Could not recommend more. The place is very small and quite famous with tourists so do come early in the morning to avoid the queue.

Waited for about 30 minutes and the line moved rather fast as they have many seats. Visited by a lot of local and foreign tourists, reasonably priced and freshest seafood!! : Definitely worth it... For those driving you may stop at the car park at the back that’s reasonably priced, and if you purchased anything from the shop please ask for car park discount when you paid for your meals. :

We came here early in the morning to have breakfast (11am). Not many ppl in the queue (say 3 group). Small Restauran with few seats available. Staff is friendly and food is good and fresh! Food: 4/5 Ambient: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Price: ¥¥ Overall: 4* Must try since u reach otaru!!

The food was so good and inexpensive that I could definitely recommend it for a lunch!
