Last Christmas, I had a fantastic time with some family friends at this restaurant. The food was amazing, and we loved the private room upstairs for drinks, snacks, and entertainment. Plus, it's conveniently located near all the hot spots in town. The next morning, we decided to try out the sushi place nearby, which turned out to be really great!

The cafe latte with an extra shot was delicious. This restaurant is cozy and quiet. I felt comfortable just ordering a drink. The option to sit at the counter was a nice addition. I would definitely recommend this place for a coffee break in Otaru!

Atmosphere and interior design is cosy, sleek and comfortable in both bar and table settings I ordered the Croissant open face sandwich set for lunch. It was so good I ate it all before remembering to take a photo! The selection of alcohol products is second to none in the area of Otaru. All japanese alcohol and local Hokkaido favourites such as Nikka whiskey from yoichi, Sapporo classic on tap and exclusive Otaru bottled beer. The coffee beans are also specialized locales sourced otaru roast by chaff. What more can I say? This should be the number 1 on your list of restaurants to check out in Otaru

This cafe and hostel is right next to the Otaru canal. They have amazing coffee and very delicious food at reasonable prices. It looks like an old factory from the outside but the inside is beautifully renovated. We would definitely book a stay here next time we visit Otaru.

Super quaint brunch lunch spot. Small and cozy. Staff is super friendly. The gazette was on point, but I’m sad I didn’t try the curry. Great coffee. Just note that it’s a small 1-chef kitchen, so food service is a bit slow, but this isn’t the place for a quick lunch. Come here to relax, enjoy a good coffee, and good food.
