The food here is fabulous, good quality and portions were ample. We had 4 different dishes and all were great, Some of the best Indian I've had. The service...
This started as a 5 star review, but the end of our visit completely destroyed it. Living close by, we had talked about trying this place for a while and decided that this Friday was it. Booked a table, and was told that kitchen closed at 10pm and restaurant at 11pm. We got a nice table, really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was delicious. But we had barely put down the fork before the table was cleared, and 5 minutes later the bill arrived with a card machine without us asking for it. No desserts or coffee, just get out please .This was 10.10 pm, so far from alleged closing time. Then the music was turned off, lights came on and staff started leaving. While we still had wine left from our expensive bottle, which we then felt we had to finish in a rush. Really bad customer service, and not what you should expect. If you want to close early and send staff home, then don 't take bookings late. And inform guests about it, instead of ruining a potentially great evening and experience.
Hands off the best Indian food place in Oslo. As someone who enjoys highly spicy food, the grandmother’s mix masala dish did not disappoint. It was spicy, but the taste was just yumm. Had ordered Naan and rice to go with it and they were delicious too. The food overall was delicious and left me wanting more. Definitely see myself ordering food again from here.. Special appreciation for the chef here for preparing such amazing food.
