Inn Of Orwigsburg

My experience here is not as a guest, but as an employee. And i will say that the burgers are AMAZING and crafted. If i end up losing my job here, i will still come for the burgers! They are all friendly and treat everyone like family. It has a beautiful interior and friendly staff! They known for their seafood, but i know the burgers are well crafted!

This is definitely a not to miss place for a great meal. A quaint little place with a nice sized patio out back, the Inn is one of the nicer places to eat in the area. There aren 't many places around here to get a really good meal but this is a sure thing. I had an excellent Porterhouse steak with real mashed potatoes and my wife really loved her fillet sitting on a pile of perfect mushrooms. The service was friendly and spot on. Ohhh.... Did I mention that they have deep fried pickle spears?!?

Beautiful old building on the outside..inside is like a grandma 's house. Too much clutter and old decor and doilies. Not crowded when we arrived. Waited quite awhile to be seated. Nice offerings on menu, good selection. Ordered from specials menu. Grilled swordfish with beets and salad. BF ordered prime rib with same sides. Not a long wait for food to come yo the table but I thought they brought the wrong dinner. Grilled swordfish had salsa(? and a layer of melted cheese on top. No grill marks. Not what I expected. Swordfish was good but I did not eat the toppings. It should be specified on the menu that it has salsa and cheese on it. Salad was good. Choose house dressing to find out they were out. BF said prime rib was ehh. Take it how you will.While it was an ok meal, I probably won 't go back.

Great atmosphere and good food. Was awesome for date night! Had the French onion soup, and a chicken entree. Finished off the meal with shoe fly pie.

Price is fair!! Service is above average. Food is AMAZING!! I had the 2nd best steak ive ever had. And i've ate at A LOT of steak houses...Mortons, Shulas etc. The steak was Hot, and the Wine was cold. Just absolutely great food! GO!!
