China Valley Chinese - Oro Valley

This place is great! Small restaurant, but super friendly service. Precise waiting time estimate when you go to an order. Good. Everything is very cheap for Chinese foods. And they can even modify most dishes gluten-free if necessary. No need for our family to go anywhere else for Chinese food. Love this place!!

Vegetables with white sauce was delicious, wok-cooked for perfection and all vegetables were fresh not from a can. Mongolian beef was generous in portion and full taste, and made with genuine cut beef, unlike most other Chinese restaurants that we have tried to serve. Since I'm not a hot food fellow, I ask the cook next time to reduce the heat to very mild. It took several gulps of water to finally get used to chili warmth and enjoy the dish. The pork foo young was generously filled with freshly cooked vegetables and served with goats from delicious Braunschweig. Chen Dee, the daughter of the cook, served us expertly with a smile. It is very knowledgeable about ingredients and cooking methods. China Valley Chinese Restaurant is a long awaited gift to Oro Valley, in fact, to Greater Tucson.

This is the best Chinese restaurant I found in the area. The MaPo Tofu tastes just like what I had in my visits to China. The clay soup is absolutely perfect, the vegetables are not excessively cooked and the broth is just right. It is definitely my visit after a long day, especially if you have a little throat pain or cold. I highly recommend that you order via the phone and pick it up yourself instead of using a service.

There is enough for 3 or 4 people. Very tasty pretty sharp. New restaurant give them a break their work very hard do the best they can, but typical problems with a new business. The food was very good. Really hated to hear an old Geezer beach that he got the wrong rice and send it back. Relax, buddy there are bigger things in life than getting the wrong rice.

Had the hu nan beef, and was simply blown away. I never would have imagined that a two ingredient dish, particularly one of jalapeño and beef, could impart such a delicate bouquet of flavor. All ingredients seemed to be exceptionally fresh, and the beef was exquisitely tender. My food was prepared quickly, and the portions were more than generous. To top it all off the staff was beyond cordial, friendly, and helpful. I cannot wait to return. This restaurant will likely be my go to place in Oro Valley for some time to come.
